About Kingdom of Childhood
Kingdom of Childhood is a 18-year-old educational initiative under Kingdom of Childhood Trust, a
registered, Not-for-profit Educational Trust based in Bengaluru. Led by a
passionate team with over 50 years of
combined experience, the school’s mission is to lead the way in holistic
education by laying a strong foundation in academic,
skill, emotional, and social development. We wish to be a model for
educators across the country in fostering an inclusive environment, where neurodiverse and neurotypical children
learn, grow, and thrive. We aspire to equip each child to contribute
meaningfully to their own well-being and to that of the interconnected world
they live in.

Holistic, Child-Centered Education
At Kingdom of Childhood, education is not only confined to classroom learning - Nature walks, Trekking all this adds to child's learning. Our method of
education integrates the wisdom and
spirituality of the ancient Gurukul system with pioneering, evidence-based practices that support the diverse needs
of every child.
Our approach includes:
● Creating a social environment that
fosters collaboration and empathy.
● Hands-on, experiential learning
that engages every student.
● Embracing nature
as a vital educator in every stage of development.
WALDORF PHILOSOPHY
WHY TARALU?
Nestled in the lap of nature, Taralu offers the perfect blend of
peace, accessibility, and natural abundance. Surrounded by farms, lakes, and
open green spaces — and located just 10
km from Bannerghatta National Park — Taralu provides fresh air, abundant groundwater,
and a serene learning environment.
Taralu truly embodies the spirit of the Kingdom of
Childhood — simplicity, balance, and deep connection with nature. The peaceful
surroundings inspire outdoor learning, creativity, and a sense of belonging. It
provides children with space to explore freely and think deeply, while keeping
them close to the rhythms of the natural world.
Village setting
The local village community
has embraced the school warmly. This mutual relationship allows the school to
offer employment, education, and
development opportunities, while children gain hands-on learning in farming, caring for animals, and
sustainable living

The campus is easily
accessible — situated between Bannerghatta
Road and Kanakapura Road, only 40 minutes from Meenakshi Mall, 20 minutes from the Art of Living Ashram and offering essential services such as hospitals, bus stops, shops within a

spirit. Parents, teachers, and volunteers have come together in a shared
effort offering time, effort and expertise to make this vision a reality.
